Author Guidelines
When submitting an article to the editorial board of the journal "Oncopathology", authors must be guided by the following rules.
1. General rules
When initially sending a manuscript to the editor, in a copy of the email All authors of this article must be indicated. 2. Formatting information about the article and authors
1) The first page should contain: – the title of the article, – initials and surnames of all authors, - academic degrees, titles, positions, place of work of each of the authors, as well as their ORCID (required), if not available, first register the author in ORCID (http://orcid.org), then send the article to the editors), – the full name of the institution(s) in which the work was performed, – address of the institution(s) with the postal code indicated.

3. Text formatting Articles are accepted in doc, docx, rtf formats. Font – Times New Roman, 14 font size, line spacing 1.5. All pages must be numbered. The text of the article begins on the second page.
4. Volume of articles (excluding illustrations and bibliography)
Original article – no more than 12 pages (larger volume is allowed in on an individual basis, by decision of the editorial board).
Description of clinical cases – no more than 8 pages. Literature review – no more than 20 pages.
Brief messages and letters to the editor – no more than 3 pages.
5. Summary
All types of articles must be accompanied by a summary on a separate page. Russian and English (if possible). The resume should briefly repeat the structure of the article, regardless of its topic.
The resume length should not exceed 2500 characters, including spaces. The resume should not contain references to literary sources and illustrative material. On the same page, keywords are placed in Russian and English (by possibilities) languages in quantities from 3 to 10.
6. Structure of articles
The original article should contain the following sections: - introduction, - target, - Materials and methods, - results, - discussion, - conclusion (findings), – the contribution of all authors to the work, – conflict of interest for all authors (if there is none, it is necessary indicate: “The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest”), – approval of the research protocol by the bioethics committee (indicating numbers and dates of the protocol), – informed consent of patients (for articles with copyright studies and descriptions of clinical cases), – if there is funding for the research, indicate its source (grant) etc.), – thanks (this section is optional).
7. Illustrative material
Illustrative material must be submitted as separate files and not appear in the text of the article. The data in the tables should not repeat the data in the figures and text and vice versa. Photos are submitted in TIFF, JPG formats with a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Drawings, graphs, diagrams, charts must be editable, completed using Microsoft Office Excel or Office Word. All figures must be numbered and provided with captions. captions. Fragments of the drawing are designated by lowercase letters of the Russian alphabet – "a", "b", etc. All abbreviations, designations in the form of curves, letters, numbers, etc., used in the figure must be explained in the caption. Figure captions are provided on a separate sheet after the text of the article in the same file. Tables should be clear, have a title and a sequential number. Headings The graph must correspond to their content. All abbreviations are deciphered in note to the table.
8. Units of measurement and abbreviations
Units of measurement are given in the International System of Units (SI). Abbreviations of words are not allowed, except for generally accepted abbreviations. All abbreviations in the text of the article must be fully deciphered at the first mention (for example, breast cancer (BC)).
9. Bibliography
The next page after the text of the article should contain a list cited literature. All sources must be numbered, the numbering is carried out strictly according to citation order in the text of the article, not in alphabetical order. All references to sources References in the text of the article are indicated by Arabic numerals in square brackets, starting from 1 (eg [5]). Number of cited works: in original articles – no more than 20-25, in literature reviews – no more than 60.
References should be given to primary sources, citing one author per work anything else is unacceptable. Inclusion of abstracts in the list of references is possible only with reference to foreign (English-language) sources. Links to dissertations and abstracts, unpublished works, as well as Data obtained from unofficial internet sources is not allowed. For each source, you must indicate: the last names and initials of the authors (if If there are more than 4 authors, the first 3 authors are indicated, followed by “et al.” in the Russian text or "et al." in the English text). The authors of the cited sources must be indicated. in the same order as in the original source.
When referring to articles from journals, the title of the article is also indicated. journal, year, volume, issue number, pages, PMID and DOI of the article (if available).
When referring to monographs, the full title of the book, place of publication, is also indicated. Publisher name, year of publication, number of pages.
Articles that do not meet these requirements will not be considered. are accepted.
10. General Provisions
1) Review of an article for publication takes at least 8 weeks.
2) All incoming articles are reviewed. The review is anonymous.
3) The editors reserve the right to edit the articles submitted for publication.
4) The editors do not provide author's copies of the journal. Journal number can be obtained on a general basis (see information on the website). Materials for publication are accepted at the address (JOURNAL ADDRESS) mandatory indication of the journal title.
